t the end of 2019, after riding high on the success of their second album -
A their Spinefarm Records debut - ‘Ain’t Always Easy’, Stone Broken had ven-
tured into the studio to begin work on its follow-up. Then we all know what hap-
pened next. Covid-19 hit and it hit hard. Life as we knew it was on pause. The band
faced periods of doubt and frustration, as we all did, but Stone Broken is emerging
from the past two years intact, inspired, and with new music to share. When Robyn
Haycock recently spoke with Black Velvet, the drummer revealed how making the
third album was at times difficult, but it has changed them and brought them closer
as a band. That album is called ‘Revelation’. Upon its release in April, it hit No. 1 on
the UK’s Official Rock and Metal Charts, showing that not even a worldwide pan-
demic can stop this Walsall quartet’s journey to the top.
