There perhaps could not be a more appropriate venue for this particular leg of this comeback tour. In the heart of London's legendary West End,
100 Oxford Street to be precise, is a live music venue which time has seemingly passed by. Shoppers in the nation’s capital will easily pass it by, not
realising the heritage and memories at their feet. And it's easy to do so, as, from the street, it's just a door, sandwiched between the typical shops
you'd expect in this part of the world, but, through the door, is nothing these shoppers would expect.
News that four of Ireland's finest in The Answer were coming back after a lengthy hiatus has been celebrated by their fans, so much so that this
gig sold out several weeks, not only before showtime but also, several weeks before they returned to our eardrums with their tremendous new album
'Sundowners'. And, given just how brilliant the record is, there is no doubt they will be playing a much larger venue on their next visit.
But, before the heroes make their return to the capital, we enjoy the de-
lights of Oli Brown & The Dead Collective. They show no fear in introducing
themselves with music few will have heard before. Given all Spotify has to
offer from them is a three-song EP, few in the room will be overly familiar with
their work, but that doesn't stop their enjoyment and they clearly make many
friends during their set.
