n January 2022, Skillet released their 11th studio album, ‘Dominion’, for the world to hear.
I As with all Skillet releases, the songs contained within this selection of material are wrapped
in inspiring and uplifting messages; no matter what struggles we go through in life, it is tem-
porary and never permanent. ‘Dominion’ has been quoted as being a “Celebration of freedom,
a liberation from fear to be who we want to be, say what we want to say, believe what we want
to believe.” With that in mind, when the band made their long-awaited return to England, we
met up with frontman John Cooper and had a good old chat about freedom of speech, cancel
culture, and how the pandemic has changed him.
