veryone loves a good reunion. A blast from
Ethe past. A reminder of happier times. And
news that one of Ireland's finest rock exports The
Answer were joining forces once again with their
first new material in seven years was universally
rejoiced by fans of classic rock. The arrival of
'Sundowners' more than vindicated their excite­
ment with some of the best music the quartet
have ever produced, and their return sees them
in as good a form as ever, if not better.

oining us ahead of their first show in the nation's
Jcapital since November 2017 is the band's charming
frontman, Cormac Neeson,who arrives at London's historic
100 Club in Oxford Street looking as cool and chilled as
ever with his trademark hat, which makes him look equal
parts cowboy and Indiana Jones. There is no mistaking him,
yet, such is his humility, he still introduces himself kindly, as
if there is any doubting who he is.
And what better place to begin chatting than with the
new album and its title track, a blistering song with a simply
epic opening, which immediately reminds anyone who had
dared forget just how good this band is what we have been
missing from our lives for the last few years. 'Sundowners’
boasts many powerful words which seemingly talk about a
rebirth and the dawning of a new chapter, so we ask Cor-
