ottingham fourpiece Lacey emerged onto the rock scene
Nin 2011, releasing their debut album, ‘Under The Brightest
Lights’, four years later. Since that time, they’ve supported Bowling
For Soup, Enter Shikari and All Time Low on tour to name just
three, as well as, obviously, performing some of their own headline
shows in between. 2018 saw the boys (Graham ‘Graz’ Turner lead
vocals and bass, Josh Lewin guitar and vocals, Pete Maksymiw –
guitar, and Dave Pearson drums and vocals) release the EP ‘I
Don’t Owe The World A Thing’. Despite all of this, they’ve mostly
gone under the radar – but their new album, 2023’s ‘This Is All We
Are’, could be the release that gifts them the success, and bright
lights, that they truly deserve. Black Velvet caught up with lead vo
calist and bassist Graham ’Graz’ Turner to discuss ‘This Is All We
Are’ and with it, anxiety, daydreaming and being a coward.
