t’s been a quiet few months for Young Guns. Back in September, they took to the road for
Ia tour of six cities. Multiply that by two as the band played ‘matinee shows’ before each
of them. Well, we say ‘matinee’, but doors for the Birmingham matinee weren’t until 5pm,
with doors for the main show at 6. But it was still something special for fans and included the
playback of some new songs that the band had been working on for the next album. It’ll be
the fifth studio album from Young Guns, and one we’re highly anticipating. But since that
tour, it’s been eerily quiet. We hope this is just the calm before the storm. The storm being a
fantastic new release that Gustav Wood, Simon Mitchell, John Taylor and Fraser Taylor are
going to smack on us right when we least expect it. But in the meantime, while we wait, let’s
go back… back to the beginning and take a trip down memory lane.
