and to help you deal with some issues and stuff
and hope that it helps other people deal with
some issues. The message in all of our songs
is pretty much a positive message. I think that’s
one of Gus’s ammos, and I think that’s why a lot
of people attach themselves to a lot of his

“We do work hard as a band,” says Si. “Up until
the start of this year, we’ve been on the road
continuously for the past ten years, really.
We’ve sacrificed and dedicated our lives to
music. Luckily, we’ve toured the world and tried
to go to new places. We’re one of those bands
that it comes natural to us and we think it’s right
to play the shows and meet as many people as
possible, to interact with the fans as much as
we can. So I feel that we do earn their devotion.
We work hard and we try and do as much as
we can for the fans, so hopefully they appreci-

“I feel like we’ve been away,” says John.
Their previous tour was in March. “We really
just wanted to make the most out of it. And
we’ve always really liked doing acoustic per-
formances, but we’ve never really arranged a
full tour to do it or a venue to do it at, so we
thought, while we’re on the road, why not do
two shows in one day?”
“And they tend to go down pretty well, don’t
they?” says Si. “Every time we’ve done
acoustic sessions in the past they always go
down well with the fan base. They’re always
telling us that they want us to do more of these,
so we thought, like John said, it’s a six-day
thing; we wanted to do as much as possible.
