n the last Punk Rock Pampering article, we

Colour. This issue, we’ve decided to stay on the
topic of hair, but tell you what other hair prod-
ucts have caught our eye recently, and that we
couldn’t resist snapping up.

them so much that we decided to keep purchasing them. Nutrigums sell all

Dr. PAWPAW It Does It All - 7 In 1 Hair Treatment Styler
We came across Dr. DAWPAW’s It Does It All - 7 In 1 Hair Treatment Styler
when we were away in Torquay for the weekend, and stumbled across it in
TK Maxx. It’s usually around £10 for 100ml or £13.50 for 150ml, but we
snapped a couple of bottles up at £4.99 each. The description on the front
definitely convinced us, as it says that it’s 1. Heat Protection, 2. Reduces Split
Ends, 3. Detangler, 4. Leave-in Hair Treatment, 5, Reduces Frizz & Smoothes,
6. Blowdry Styling Aid and 7. Adds shine. It’s 95% natural and vegan-friendly.
We mostly bought it for the first two reasons - the heat protection due to using
hair straighteners, and to reduce split ends. But the fact that it does so much
more makes it a prized possession. You can use it on damp or dry hair, and it
basically makes your hair more manageable and helps reduce the damage.
The ingredients include pawpaw fruit, which rejuvenates, nourishes and hy-
drates, aloe vera, which also hydrates, is antibacterial and is full of antioxi-
dants, and coconut oil, a moisturiser, which can protect the hair from damage.
If your hair is crying for some salvation, definitely get your paw paws on this.

Native State Total Repair Hair Mask & Heat Defence Spray
Searching Holland & Barrett’s website, we discovered Native State, which
appears to be a new brand of Holland & Barrett’s own. It comes in quite fancy
packaging, so you’d probably never guess. The range of Native State products
includes Dry & Damaged Shampoo, Curl & Frizz Leave-In Conditioner and
Hydrate & Glow Mask to name but three, although we picked the Total Repair
Heat Defence Spray and Hair Mask. The Hair Mask comes in a big tube, like
a conditioner. It contains Keravis, a trademarked ingredient that is a natural,
vegan alternative to Keratin (which is usually derived from the hooves, hair
and skin of a horse). The Hair Mask contains argan and baobab oils and Pro
Vitamin B5, which strengthens and hydrates the hair. The Heat Defence Spray,
in a smaller, pump dispenser bottle, also includes argan and baobab oils and
Pro Vitamin B5. With a fabulously juicy fragrance, these two items do what
they say, providing a real pampering session for your hair, helping to
