Four out of five bands interviewed in this issue of
Black Velvet are female-based. One is a female 04 MILLIE MANDERS AND THE SHUTUP

We were inspired to feature Millie Manders and The
Shutup after seeing Millie’s tweets on Twitter (or ‘X’ as it

and we did while we were there with them too. We loved
chatting to them and their live show was pretty awesome
too. We’re looking forward to 2024 bringing The Hot
Damn!’s debut album.
