                           arch 2019 saw the release of Marianas Trench’s fifth studio album, ‘Phantoms’. The album
                    M was inspired in part by Edgar Allen Poe’s work as well as New Orleans’ voodoo culture.
                 ‘Phantoms’ is the next installment in Marianas Trench’s grandiose album themes – following in
                 the footsteps of 2015’s ‘Astoria’, which was inspired by 80s coming of age adventure movies (The

                 Goonies in particular). The band, featuring Josh Ramsay on vocals, Matt Webb on lead guitar, Mike
                 Ayley on bass guitar and Ian Casselman on drums, have become known for their theatric and ad-
                 venturous approach to music, and ‘Phantoms’ could be their most elaborate piece of work yet. It
                 certainly shows off their immense songwriting skills, musicianship and talent in all its glory.
