04 A MUSICAL NOTE FROM...
I've subtitled this issue of Black Velvet 'The Disaster
Issue'. It has: 1) The interview where I had to call a U.S 05 AT THE SUN
conference call number and the interviewee wasn’t there, 06 CRAzY LIxx
only to find they’d had to cancel (we got it rescheduled 10 JANET GARDNER
and it happened, yay). 2) The 2nd interview where I had to
call a U.S. conference call number, I was a minute late as 14 IN THIS MOMENT
I didn't want to be early in case I was waiting for ages as 18 THE NEW ROSES
in No. 1... apparently the band member was there, but
then went before I got there, so then the manager came 22 xANDER & THE PEACE PIRATES
on the line and had to try and get hold of said member... 26 THE CRUEL KNIVES
(he did, and the interview happened. Hurray.) 3) The 30 NOTHING MORE
Skype interview where I was calling but it said no answer,
and the other person had no internet connection, so the 36 THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS
interview ended up being nearly an hour later after we 40 THEORY OF A DEADMAN
had finally managed to get hold of each other via email. 44 BV CV / EATIN’ AIN’T CHEATIN’
The band member managed to turn Skype on on his
phone. 4) The Skype interview where I didn't put makeup 45 PUNK ROCK PAMPERING
on as I figured it'd be audio as they have all been so far... 47 ALBUMS
and then they put the video on, and I had to tell them I had
no makeup on so couldn't put the video on... and then 5) 53 FANSITE FOCUS
I was confirmed to do an interview in Birmingham, 54 CONCERTS
although not at a show. I get the train up to Birmingham, 56 RIP CHESTER BENNINGTON
spend a couple of hours waiting around to then be told
the band didn’t know about any interviews and can I send
the questions by email instead. I sent them by email, but
then never got any answers back!
That said, in the grand scheme of things, interviews A Bit O’ Twitter
