hen artists are lucky enough to obtain seemingly overnight success they don’t tend
Wto stick around too long; the star that burns twice as bright burns half as long, or so
they say. Sixteen years have passed since 3 Doors Down released their breakthrough debut
single ‘Kryptonite’, a resounding hit which helped the band score international recognition.
Over the years they’ve continued to deliver more hit singles and platinum albums. However,
it has not all been plain sailing, as Black Velvet found out when we recently spoke to guitarist
Chris Henderson. In recent years, the band have been through some dark times; but now,
thanks to the highly anticipated new album ‘Us And The Night’, a rejuvenated 3 Doors Down
is set to shine brighter than ever.
