Well, Celebrity Big Brother has been on, I’ve been 05 SCREAMING EAGLES
sidetracked by eBay far too many times (the latest pur-
chases include a mouse and a panda costume... don’t 06 BITERS
ask!), but still I’ve managed to get this issue out earlier 08 ESTRELLA
than planned. Go me! It’s been quite a quiet couple of
months as far as gigs in the Midlands go though. I per- 10 DON BROCO
sonally missed the festivals and instead did more phone 14 WILSON
interviews and Black Velvet work at home than usual. As
you can see, we’ve put Lifehouse on the cover, as they’ve 16 LIBERTY LIES
returned with an awesome new album following their hia- 18 WE ARE THE OCEAN
tus. Sad news was that their US tour with Nickelback got
cancelled due to Chad Kroeger needing surgery for a 22 LIFEHOUSE
cyst on his vocal cords. This left Lifehouse without a tour 27 BV CV / FANSITE FOCUS
to promote ‘Out Of The Wasteland’ - and so they them-
selves also had a little bit more time at home. Luckily, 28 THE DIRTY YOUTH
Lifehouse’s own UK and European headline shows were 30 SHINEDOWN
not affected - if you are heading to a Lifehouse show
soon, enjoy! We hope they return again after this leg for 33 ALBUMS
a much longer tour - Birmingham in particular needs a 36 SINGLES / EATIN’ AIN’T CHEATIN’
               show!
One of the few gigs that we did get to go to recently 37 CONCERTS
was Don Broco’s intimate tour that coincided with their 41 SUPERSONIC FUTURE SUPERSTARS
new album release. Congratulations to the boys for enter-
ing the charts at no. 6 with ‘Automatic’. I’ve been playing 42 ZOMBIE WALK BIRMINGHAM
the album a lot and really loving it. It’s great to see a UK
band really emerging into a class, top quality act on par
with more well known international bands. They also rule
for being involved in the tandem skydive for Stephen
Sutton the other month. And it was awesome to see and A Bit O’ Twitter
speak to Rob’s mom and dad at the Birmingham show.
