‘Can You Hear Me Now?’ has a slightly silky feel, Gill’s vocals seeming a
little smoother. Before the new single ‘Damn!Damn!Damn!Damn!’, Gill tells the
audience the video was filmed in mini golf venue, Golf Fang. She says there
are four ‘Damn!’s, one for each of them, before adding, “Every time we sing
‘Damn!’ you have to take a shot. You can do it. It’s Saturday!”

‘Loud And Clear’ is riffalicous, thanks to Laurie Buchanan on the guitar, while ‘Automatic’
has a uniquely fresh and almost futuristic sound. The motivational ‘Live Laugh Love’ is uplifting
and fun. Gill tells the audience they filmed the video in a caravan at Butlin’s. The crowd chant
‘Live Laugh Love’ before the song begins and join in with the chorus.
Gill sings the ‘Merch Song’, a quirky little ditty written to inspire the audience to go and buy
some of their merchandise from the merch stall, before ‘Going Down’, and then final song of the
evening ‘I Didn’t Like You Anyway’, dedicated to their exes. They don’t go offstage for an encore,
but just stay where they are, saying there’s nowhere to go, so ‘Close your eyes… Open your
eyes!’ ‘I Didn’t Like You Anyway’ is a brash, finger-in-the-air F.U. and a great way to end the set.
We definitely love these girls a lot. Catch them on their next tour – we most definitely will.
