‘The Reckoning’ sees blasts of smoke adding to
the impact of the song, while ‘Don’t Pray For Me’
sees Sharon speaking about growing up and how
some people try and tell children how to be. She
stops when she sees another audience member
fainting. She calls for security and tells everyone
“This is important,” before telling everyone to eat and
drink before they go to the show, since that can
cause fans to faint. She obviously cares a lot.
The stage goes dark for a few minutes before
Sharon appears sitting up on a show-stopping circu-
lar swing hanging high up above the stage for ‘All I
Need’. The lighting shines out in all directions, while
again the backdrop looks like a starry night sky.
The evening is wrapped up with ‘Ice Queen’ and
‘Mother Earth’, both sounding theatrical and majestic
at the same time. With more blasts of fire, Within
Temptation were definitely on fire tonight. They take
a photo with the audience to commemorate the mo-
ment and tonight is one no one will forget in a long
time.
