Eatin’ Ain’t Cheatin’ ALPRO 360
Ice cream season may be over, but we’ve been eating more ice cream this winter than we
did in the summer. Maybe it’s the fact that there have been some good deals on them. And,
while there are lots of great vegan ice creams in supermarkets, and even more in online stores,
one that stood out as a fave is Alpro’s 360. We all know Alpro for delivering top-notch vegan
milk (they make soya milk, almond milk, hazelnut milk, oat milk, cashew nut milk, rice milk and
coconut milk... phew!), but they have branched out into the dessert world. We’ve been eating
their yoghurts for a while, but they also make ice cream - and their latest additions are their
‘360’ range - due to only containing 360 calories per tub. If you’re on a diet, you can eat these
without feeling too guilty. We tried the ‘Velvety Chocolate Swirl’ when Morrisons had it on offer
for £2 - it’s usually £5 (or £4 in Tesco). Sainsburys also had a £2.50 introductory offer. A real
bargain, it tasted so creamy and delicious. We were expecting it to be chocolate ice cream, but
it’s actually vanilla with a chocolate ‘swirl’ through it. They also have a ‘Passionate Mango Swirl’
flavour too. If you’ve never tried plant-based ice cream, give it a shot - it will amaze you. It’s
super-yummy - and you’ll enjoy it so much, you’ll probably eat the whole tub in one go.
