04 A (MUSICAL) NOTE FROM... ALLY DICKATY
About six months ago, I received a message out of
the blue from Dj Ashba’s assistant asking me if Dj could 05 WHY EVERYONE LEFT
use a photo I had taken of him during a Sixx:A.M. show in 06 THE BAD FLOWERS
his store in Las Vegas. Of course I said yes - and his 10 FROM ASHES TO NEW
Ashba Media company blew the photo up to hang behind
the counter at the back of the store. A second copy is 14 HANDS LIKE HOUSES
upstairs in the ‘Secret Loft’, so I’m told. So Jon Bon Jovi 18 THREE DAYS GRACE
playing a show at the Palazzo on Las Vegas Strip was the
perfect excuse to get to go and see my photo in all its 22 MASSIVE WAGONS
glory. I still had three days holiday to take from work that 26 SAVING ABEL
I hadn’t booked already. Although unfortunately only 32 WITH CONFIDENCE
three - so I couldn’t stay any longer. I ended up catching
a direct flight from Manchester (which involved heading 35 BV CV
to Birmingham just after midnight and getting the 2.30am 36 ALBUMS
coach to Manchester. I’ll sleep when I’m dead...) and 40 CONCERTS
made the Ashba Store in the Stratosphere my first point
of call after checking in at my hotel. It was awesome to 51 FANSITE FOCUS / DVDS
see a live photo that I’d taken on show in Dj’s store where
everyone can see it - albeit without my name by it (I guess
I can’t have everything)! Below is a pic of me in the store
with the photo at the back behind the counter. If you’re
ever in Las Vegas, stop by the store. Aside from seeing A Bit O’ Twitter
my pic, Dj has, of course, lots of Ashba clothing for sale
- everything from t-shirts to beanies, water bottles to USB Words of Wisdom (or otherwise) from Twitter:
power banks (I grabbed a couple of those while I was
there, and they will come in handy when I’m on my trav- Andrew W.K. @AndrewWK

it just be business (or pleasure) as usual? I’m already

I long for the days when my tweets weren’t considered breaking news.

Stay grateful. Choose something big or small and appreciate it. You’re
Shari Black Velvet the only one with that power.
Adam Lambert @adamlambert
I’ve noticed a foolish argument: “Guns don’t kill people, people kill
people” That’s bullshit. If the person doesn’t have a killing weapon,
victims wouldn’t die. Why continue to make it as easy as it is to get a
gun? So u can fight fire w fire? Less guns = less killing. Logic.

Today I answered an unknown with a character voice and when I
realised I totally knew who it was and they weren’t a creep, I had to
keep the bit going and tell them to “pls hold while I bring the phone to
Hayley”.
