016 will stay in our memories for a number of reasons. The first, for
2the sheer number of deaths, musical or otherwise. The second, for
being the year Great Britain voted to leave the EU – and in America, the year
Donald Trump chose to stand for president. 2016 has also sadly been the
year of more mass shootings and bombings. But on a positive note, the year
a large number of our favourite bands released new albums. And some, as
in The Dead Daisies’ case, have been inspired by what’s been going on
around us.
