015 was the year that almost broke The Summer Set. But three days before they
2were going to announce their hiatus, the band members, Brian Dales, Jess Bowen,
Stephen and John Gomez and Josh Montgomery, talked. They talked about how proud they
were of the album they had just wrien, which they had decided to release as a farewell album.
They realized that ‘Stories For Monday’ was not their farewell, but a new hello, a new begin-
ning… maybe even, a new chance to be great. They released the album in April and we’re so glad
they’re back. It is great – and they are great.
