One of the coolest things about producing a rock 04 THE AnSWER
mag (online or otherwise) is when you get to speak to
someone who shares the same beliefs as you. It’s some- 08 SEETHER
times even better when it comes as a total surprise and 12 HALESTORM
you didn’t actually know until they tell you. This issue I
interviewed Billy Lunn of The Subways on the phone 16 E OF E
who’s given up drinking. I discovered that he became 19 SYMMETRY
vegetarian at the same time, which I hadn’t known -
despite all the in-depth research before the gig (he’s 20 WE ARE HARLOT
since added to his Twitter page that he’s vegetarian - GO 24 BUMBLEFOOT
Billy!).
This issue we also interview some other bands who 27 RICHEY MAnIC
have exciting new albums out (or due out imminently). 28 SET IT OFF
We can’t wait for a We Are Harlot tour - their album kicks
ass. Thank God Roadrunner finally released it. And we 34 THE SUBWAYS
also finally got to interview Set It Off while they were in 38 BV CV
the UK supporting Crown The Empire. We missed them
on the Yellowcard tour a couple of years ago, so only got 39 FAnSITE FOCUS / SFS
to see them live when they supported Tonight Alive in late 40 DAnKO JOnES
2013. They blew us away and we’ve been waiting for their
return ever since - so we HAD to put them on the cover 43 ALBUMS
this time around. They’re an amazing band who put a lot 47 SInGLES / DVDS
of hard work and determination into everything that they
do. Get tickets to their headline tour - and if you’re going 48 COnCERTS
to Slam Dunk make sure they’re on your list of bands to
see.
Besides those guys, we’ve got some other interesting
