                  Well, that didn’t really work, did it? Getting the issue  05 GO PRIMITIVE

               when you’re having fun. Or jet-setting to Vegas. Or wait-  06 ASKInG ALExAnDRIA
               ing  for  interviews  that  don’t  happen!  The  latter  doesn’t  10 WAYWARD SOnS
               happen too often, thankfully, but we did research for one  14 RAVEnEYE
               interview  in  January  that  ended  up  not  happening.
               Thankfully, all the other interviews we arranged for this  18 DOn BROCO
               issue  happened  -  that  included  our  cover  story  with  22 AnDREW W.K.
               Escape  The  Fate,  whose  new  album,  ‘I  Am  Human’,  is
               amazing  and  blew  us  away  upon  our  first  listen.  They  26 ESCAPE THE FATE
               recently toured the UK, although sadly not Birmingham,  32 THREE DAYS GRACE
               so  I  chatted  to vocalist  Craig  Mabbitt  on  the  phone  35 PRESS TO MECO
               instead,  while  our  contributor  Michael  went  to  the
               London show at KOKO. After Escape The Fate came our  36 BV CV / FAnSITE FOCUS
               interview  with  Asking  Alexandria.  That  one  we  did  in  37 ALBUMS
               Birmingham  (with  James  Cassells)  before  the  band’s  41 SUPERSOnIC FUTURE SUPERSTARS
               show with Black Veil Brides at the O2 Academy. We also
               interviewed  Don  Broco  at  the  O2 Academy.  Don  Broco  42 PUnK ROCK PAMPERInG
               have done amazingly well of late, selling out their UK tour  43 COnCERTS
               with new album ‘Technology’ hitting the UK charts at no.

                  Our contributor Michael offered to interview Wayward  63 RIP nATHAn GUnn
               Sons (fronted by Toby Jepson) for us, when they supp-  64 RIP PAT TORPEY
               ported  Steel  Panther.  Michael  also  headed  to  see
               RavenEye at Dingwalls and interviewed them there. We
               caught  RavenEye  last  year  supporting  BUSH  and  were
               very impressed. And after our trip to Vegas, we managed  A Bit O’ Twitter
               to  squeeze  in  a  chat  with  Andrew  W.K.  about  his  new
               album, ‘You’re not Alone’, before wrapping up the issue.
