                  How is everyone doing in these trying times? In some
               respects, we were lucky with this issue - we managed to  05 NOT UR GIRLFRENz
               do all of this issue’s interviews before coronavirus took  06 BRONNIE
               over the world. My last interview was with Phil X at Phil X  10 THOSE DAMN CROWS
               & The Drills’ final show of their UK tour in Birmingham. It
               was  towards  the  end  of  the  first  week  of  coronavirus  14 DELAIN
               starting to make its mark in the UK. Gigs hadn’t been can-  18 PHIL X & THE DRILLS
               celled and no-one knew how bad things would become.
               We went to the gig hoping not to get too close to anyone,  23 FANSITE FOCUS / SFS
               yet  not  feeling  overly  worried  at  that  time.  Although  24 HANDS OFF GRETEL
               flights  from  Europe  were  starting  to  cancel,  with  Italy  30 NEW YEARS DAY
               being the hotspot for coronavirus victims, and The Drills
               ended up looking for flights that day to go home the next,  34 SIMPLE PLAN
               cutting their tour short to get home while they could. So,  38 ALBUMS
               I interviewed  Phil,  we  reviewed  the  show  -  and  that  is  41 CORONAVIRUS CHAOS
               where our concert schedule ended. Since then, I’ve been
               busy  getting  this  issue  completed  in  between  dayjob  42 CONCERTS
               work - while bands have been cancelling tours as the UK  48 RIP ADAM SCHLESINGER
               and  many  countries  went  into  lockdown.  Luckily,  my
               dayjob  involves  working  from  home,  so  my  life  hasn’t
               changed too much, with the exception of no gigs. I’m still
               doing my dayjob in the daytime and doing Black Velvet in
               the evening. I’m used to being at home, so life isn’t real-  BV Instagram

               and no concert reviews or face-to-face interviews. Part of
               me  is  wondering  whether  to  take  a  break  until  coron-
