most important bands in the UK and the
world today. Fronted and founded by

Lauren Tate, this is a band that cares
about what’s going on in society and uses
their music to create awareness. As a fe-

male, Lauren gives a voice to other
women – to help them and to inspire

them – singing about real and important
matters that are often swept under the
carpet and left unspoken. While Lauren

created Hands Off Gretel to be her own
happy place, the band and their music
has now become the happy place for

many others.
