DELAIN

Netherlands rock band Delain released their new album, 'The Human Contradiction' in April. Following in the footsteps of previous release 'We Are The Others' the album shows that the band has a lot of substance, intelligence and compassion. In parts, this release was inspired by frontwoman Charlotte Wessels' educational studies - she graduated just prior to the release, while elsewhere she was also affected by those around her. Black Velvet chats to Charlotte about ethical issues, female objectification and more.
